GRAND CITIES ART FEST, JUNE 12-13, 2010
Admire the art. Savor the food. Breathe in the outdoors. Feel the sun. Tune in to new music. Introduce your senses to 145 artist vendors and 16 concessioners at the 2010 Grand Cities Art Fest June 12 and 13 in downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks.
Art Fest is a diverse gathering of local artistic talent and entertainment that highlights our region’s unique culture. Times for this year’s event are Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shop for fine art and homemade crafts, spark your kids’ imaginations with child-centered craft making, experience live, local music and see Town Square come alive as artists turn raw materials into original masterpieces at “Arts in Action” – all framed by the scenic banks of the
Red River of the North.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER? COME TO THE PEP RALLY!
In previous years, Art Fest has drawn around 35,000 people to downtown Grand Forks. The past successes of Art Fest would not be possible without the help of over 200 volunteers. Volunteers for the Grand Cities Art Fest are invited to the Volunteer Pep Rally on Tuesday, June 8 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the GuestHouse Town House, 701 First Avenue North. Attendees will receive their free Art Fest T-shirt, have the opportunity to win prizes, and learn about their volunteer duties for the Grand Cities Art Fest. Food and beverages will be provided. The rally is free, and anyone can attend- even if you haven't signed up to volunteer yet!
