Grand Cities Art Fest
Every June, Grand Cities Art Fest brings 30,000 + visitors to downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks to enjoy 145+ artisans, many food vendors, and exciting performers.
Annual Art Awards & Art Auction
Set for September 23rd, 2010, join us at the Empire Arts Center as we honor the people and organizations that help our regional arts thrive. The enjoyable awards ceremony is accompanied by a top-notch Art Auction.
Reception for University of North Dakota Staff & Faculty
Affiliated with UND and interested in learning more about area arts events and organizations? Join us at the North Dakota Museum of Art on September 2nd from 4:30-6pm for refreshments, entertainment, and hob-nobbing with representatives from Greater Grand Forks arts organizations. Season event calendars from these organizations will also be available.
Brown Bag Lunch Series for Artists
Join NoVAC on the first Thursday of each month to discuss topics ranging from marketing your art to finding affordable health insurance for artists. Artists of all artforms are invited, $5 for non-NoVAC Members and Free for members. The next Brown Bag Lunch will be on September 2nd at noon: BUILDING YOUR FREE, BEAUTIFUL, EASY AS PIE WEBSITE
Mayor's Choice Artist Program
Every 3 months, Grand Forks Mayor Mike Brown chooses an artist to showcase his or her work at City Hall. Each new artist is honored with a reception. The next artist will be chosen in the middle of September, with a mid-October reception. We are also seeking musicians, actors, poets, etc. to perform at the receptions.
