Introduce your senses to 160+ artists, unique food vendors in 2 food courts, and 2 days of live performances at the 2013 Grand Cities Art Fest Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, in downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. Art Fest is a diverse gathering of artistic talent, food and entertainment that highlights our region’s unique culture. Times for this year’s event are Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop for fine art and homemade crafts, spark your kids’ imaginations with child-centered craft making, experience live, local music and see arts come alive as artists turn raw materials into original masterpieces at “Arts in Action” – all framed by the scenic banks of the Red River of the North. The Grand Cities Art Fest draws 40,000+ people to downtown Grand Forks during the second weekend in June. The past successes of Art Fest would not be possible without the help of over 200 volunteers (who have a REALLY great time).
