The North Valley Arts Council (NoVAC) is pleased to announce the release of the 2008 Re-grant Program application forms.

The Re-grant Program, funded by the City of Grand Forks and administered by NoVAC, supports nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in Greater Grand Forks. The mission of the re-grant program is to support arts and culture in Greater Grand Forks by primarily resources to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations that facilitate the continued creation of art. The mission of NoVAC is to support and promote arts and culture for the artists, arts organizations, and citizens of Greater Grand Forks.

The Re-grant Program provides support for activities taking place between March 1, 2008 and February 28, 2009. The application deadline is December 7, 2007. Application forms can be downloaed below. To have the forms mailed, please contact NoVAC’s office at (701) 777-6120 or at info@novac.org.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a letter indicating their intent to apply for funds, including in the letter a one-paragraph description of the proposed project or activity, by October 1, 2007. The letters may be mailed to NoVAC at PO Box 12204, Grand Forks, ND 58208; faxed to (701) 777-0858; or submitted at the Re-grant Workshop (see below).

A workshop to assist applicants in writing their grants will be held on Monday, September 23 from 9:00-10:30am the Bremer Bank Community Room, located at 3100 South Columbia Road in Grand Forks. At the workshop, the application process will be reviewed, and changes to the Re-grant Program will be addressed. Participants are encouraged to be prepared to work on their proposal.
