ArtWise was organized in 1993 for the purpose of providing elementary schools in the Greater Grand Forks area and the Grand Forks Air Force Base with an art curriculum and art teachers. The organiztion reaches its goals by facilitating the Artist in the Classroom Program, which intergrates art teachers in elementary classrooms, and by organizing the annual Elementary Art Show.

Dakota Science Center
Dakota Science Center aims to promote life-long curiosity and fascination with all the sciences in youth, families, teachers, and the community through discovery, exploration and interaction.

Grand Forks Public Schools
The Grand Forks Public School (GFPS) system serves 7,800 students who attend schools in Grand Forks and at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. GFPS consists of two high schools (grades 9-12), an alternative high school, four middle schools (grades 6-8), 12 twelve elementary schools, and one Head Start Program. GFPS receive strong performance from students, made possible due to a curriculum designed by highly qualified teachers, 65% of whom have Master degrees and beyond. Parent and community support is strong and very instrumental in the success of the schools.
