Art on the Red
The Art on the Red takes place the weekend of June 10-11, 2017. Art Fest brings 30,000+ visitors to the banks of the Red River to enjoy 160+ artisans, food vendors in two food courts, free kids' activities, and live performances on two stages. Are you an organization or artist who would like to produce art and/or arts programs but are not registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit? This program is perfect for you. The Umbrella program is a fiscal agent sponsorship that allows you to offer tax-deductible receipts to your donors and gives you the chance to apply for many grants. CITY OF GRAND FORKS ARTS GRANTS
The Arts Re-Grant program is funded by the City of Grand Forks and administered by the North Valley Arts Council. NoVAC re-grants the funds to Grand Forks arts and cultural organizations that produce public programming. Applications are available in November.
MAYOR'S CHOICE ARTIST PROGRAM
Every three months, Grand Forks Mayor Michael Brown chooses an artist to showcase his/her work at City Hall, and we honor each artist with a public reception. In addition to artists, we seek musicians, dancers, poets, etc. to perform at the receptions. Sponsored by the North Dakota Council on the Arts, Art For Life joins artists with elders in the community in order to foster a better quality of life through the arts.
