Participants are solely responsible for set-up and take-down, including transporting artwork and display materials and providing easels or other display materials. NoVAC has a limited number of easels available for a small rental fee. Artwork must remain on display until the awards are finished at about 7:30pm. Artists may be present with their artwork during the event.
Selling Artwork: Artists are allowed to sell their artwork and are responsible for all aspects of selling, including providing contact and pricing info, contacting interested buyers, collecting payments, providing change, collecting and reporting taxes, and delivering work. To sell your work, you must contact the state of North Dakota for a free tax ID number. Contact the North Valley Arts Council for more info. If you sell your artwork at the event, it must remain on display until the awards ceremony at 7:30pm is finished.
